AFSRB Industry Member Election

The first term of office for Scott Barbour as a Funeral Business Representative on the AFSRB will end on March 31, 2020. A letter was sent out to the funeral services business at the beginning of January to call for nominations. If you know of someone who may be interested on putting their name forward to serve on the AFSRB or would like more information on becoming an AFSRB member, please contact the office for further information.
Licence Renewal Update

All licences issued by the AFSRB will expire on March 31, 2020. We are still working with the online system to get it ready to go live. We are hopeful that it will be ready this week. Once we are ready to go live, login information will be sent to all business managers via email. Business managers will then be able to login and complete their renewals. The User Manual was provided over a week ago by email, but the most up to date version can be found under the Industry tab, "FILIS User Manual".

2019 AFSRB Election Results

Dean Ross from Stettler and Parkview Funeral Homes was elected to serve a 3 year term with the AFSRB. He will join Scott Barbour and Shawn Feist as the industry representatives on the Board.
